Insects consumption is not new, There are around more than three thousand ethnic groups of humans around the world that eat this type of food. We introduce you five insects that you did not know you can eat. Would you dare? Let us start!
1-Cicadas.-According to studies, people prone to allergies, pregnant or lactating women, or very young children should not eat insects. However cicadas can be prepared in soups, and cocktails. They have a crunchy taste very similar to the taste of shellfish like shrimp.

4-Cockroaches.- It has been scientifically proven that cockroaches contain high levels of protein for human consumption. However, they must be cooked properly to kill the bacteria they contain. In countries like Thailand they are considered a good snack, they are cooked fried in oil.
Fried, roasted or cooked, cockroaches are also part of the diet of many ethnic groups in Asia.
