Pending Challenges

1- Gender violence: Violence against women remains a serious violation of human rights around the world.
2- Wage gap: Women still earn less than men for doing the same work.
3- Glass ceiling: Women face invisible barriers that limit their rise to leadership positions.
4- Workplace harassment: Sexual and workplace harassment remains a reality for many women.
5- Inequality in the workplace: Home: Women continue to assume the majority of domestic and caregiving responsibilities.
6- Access to technology: The digital gender gap limits women's access to opportunities in the digital world.

International Women's Day is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made and renew the commitment to continue working towards a world where gender equality is a reality. It is essential that governments, organizations, companies and society in general join forces to overcome pending challenges and build a more just and equitable future for all women.
